All clients are informed through this message that will begin transfering the db server over to softlayer network from today. this will also include the mail server for thecoolserver customers.

IT is also recomended that the clients perform the following changes in their scripts for a transparent move.

They should use the following hosts wherever they are accessing the below mentioned services in their scripts.

mysql.server For accessing MySQL server through their scripts.
mssql.server For accessing MSSQL server through their scripts.
mail.server For accessing the Mail Server.

It is neccessary to use the above instead of ip addresses in your scripts from now on.
